Video projection, laptop w/live video feed, objects
A set of mundane objects and images in an institutional workspace arranged into a strange relation of the immediate and the mediated through documentation and representation. This work involved two looping video projections, one on either side of the room, and a live-streaming webcam feed from one corner of the room to the other. The webcam feed framed a pile of papers on a desk in an enclosed office space within the room, which were occasionally disturbed by an oscillating fan. The projections framed two objects in the room: a piece of reflective Mylar draped over a ladder, and a yellow plastic bag hung on an electrical outlet, blowing in the wind from the open windows, with the traffic noise from outside doubled by the audio of the looping video playback.
